may hours together on the ole waialae links some of my fondest memories of time with ole gil. he’s holding a pitching wedge i was to inherit as he moved up into new clubs, haig ultras if memory serves. a club i used to leave many a ball in the sand for a second try, only later realizing the benefits of a sand rather than pitching wedge.
so, where did the pic come from??? he sure looks good doesn’t he? i hadn’t tested his patience yet it would seem.
