I love this picture… I just wished I remembered what we were all laughing about, especially Terri!
Hi Deb!
I know! Can’t you hear Terri’s contagious laugh right now? Must’ve been Uncle Sonny taking the photo! She’s laughing at his collar!
The party, as we know, was at the Kahala Hilton. I have a surreal memory from that night that I’ve since wondered if I’m confusing it with a wishful dream. From what I recall, Scott took me and Jed outside the party hall to see dolphins, who were hanging out in in a lit pool. Was I hallucinating? And are they still there?
yes, the kahala hilton had an outdoor aquarium on the oceanside of the hotel, especially for a few dolphins.
I don’t think you were hallucinating. I remember walking outside and watching the dolphins… Scott and Gerard went swimming with the dolphins while in Hawaii a couple of years ago… I am pretty sure it was at the Kahala Hilton.
Yes, Houston, we have dolphins. The outside of the hotel offers a man made rock like waterfall, tide pool areas with sting ray and open pond with a bridge. You can walk over the dolphins. The waterfall shoots out into this large “pond” and funnels to the ocean which is near by as well. Its a private beach.
I love this picture too. I love all my nieces and nephews, but I especially love this group! I only wish I had one of my children represented in this picture with Grandpa! It really captures Grandpa in all his glory!
