Somebody took the classic film, stripped it down to its bare essentials, and condensed it down to the format of a Twilight Zone episode. Genius.

Watch it here.

A great ten minute clip of the surrealist on the famous 1950s game show.

Just heard from my Uncle Bill in England, who sent me a couple pix of Ashley’s 30th bash from a couple weeks ago. Bill and Auntie Lynne were the only ones over 40, up ’til dawn serving sixty partiers sporting fashions of 1977. (Thx Bill.)

Wish I was there. It would’ve given me an excuse to bust out my mauve taupe again. Seen here are Jamie and Ashley himself, paying homage to Sir Stardust. (Happy 30th, cuz. Hey, is that Bass?)

I can only wonder what Bill was wearing. I’m imagining a Chewbacca costume.

Oh, the hangover.

Hasn’t happened to me yet, but it’s notable. (Thx Andreas.)

this happened to me for the first time today. gmail just refused to load in my browser. it claimed to be loading, and then came up with a message that something was wrong with google’s servers and to try again in a few minutes. I did that for a while, then tried it in IE, and it worked fine. so I went back to firefox — nothing. deleted the mail.google.com cookies and restarted firefox. all’s well.

fyi if it ever strikes you.
