A behind-the-scenes peek at the recording of the original score for The Hobbit 2. Composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore, who also worked on Lord of the Rings.

Back in 2011, Brenda Schmitz lost her life to ovarian cancer. Right before she died, she wrote a letter with three wishes, but asked a friend not to mail it until her husband David had fallen in love again. The time came this year, in 2013.

The anonymous friend mailed the letter to a radio station on Brenda’s request, and the letter was read on their “Christmas Wish” show with David in the studio.

That’s love right there, people.
