jaceOne of my favorites. FedEx’s well-known logo has a right-pointing arrow created by the negative space between the E and x. While the arrow becomes quite obvious when pointed out, most people don’t notice it otherwise. An excellent study in subliminal advertising, with the arrow symbolizing forward movement and thinking.

Then I forgot to set my VCR that opening Wednesday evening, missing the season pilot. Not wanting to play catch up on a soap opera for six months, I sat it out, steering clear of anything remotely related to the show. I figured I’d watch it from the beginning some day.
