The other day a neighborhood buddy that goes all the way back to our childhood days, Bryce, stopped by on the way home from picking up his young daughter from school. He was giving her a lift on the handlebars of his bike.
He’s a cement guy. We hung out in the backyard for a while, discussing some construction options and what not. As we were doing this, I noticed his girl seemed to be preccupied in some sort of daydream, fiddling with pebbles on my walkway, examining them, sizing them up, etc. She spent quite a bit of time walking from the pebbles to the picnic table.
