Ready for paint!
The boys wrapped up the taping, mudding, and sanding today. Time to let it dry for a couple days. I’ve decided to take the weekend off from all this remodel stuff, and am just gonna give myself a chance to exhale.

A 12-week-old macaque — abandoned by his mother — was rescued by an animal sanctuary in China. Spiritless and close to death, he developed a new lease on life after striking up a friendship with a pigeon. =read full story=
A quick search at Snopes turns up nothing on this, so the accuracy of the story stands unconfirmed. Is it real? I personally find the picture too cute to care.

Is the front of the staircase red or yellow? The Schroeder Stairs, also called Schouten’s Staircase, are an ambiguous figure that depicts two different staircases at the same time: one going up from right to left, the other turned upside-down. The Schroeder Stairs appear in M.C. Escher’s works “Relativity” and “Convex and Concave”.
