Storytelling tips for left-brained writers

Here’s an outstanding conversation between Joanna Penn and Larry Brooks. Larry’s written a book called Story Engineering, and runs a blog for writers called Storyfix.

While I’ve not yet read Story Engineering, I’m a big fan of Larry’s sensibilities. Grab a drink and sit down with this video for the next half hour. This dude knows his stuff, and has a unique way of explaining the storytelling craft in physical terms. Perfect for people who struggle with abstract concepts, while also having something to say to right-brained people who thumb their nose at structure.
