At last, balance may be restored to the universe. MTV is reviving Beavis and Butt-Head in October, representing the first new material produced in 14 years. Everything from a Cornholio resurrection to a rip on ‘Jersey Shore’. Here’s a sneak peak:
When asked why he’s bringing the duo back, creator Mike Judge told EW:
“I felt like TV was getting a little too smart. I guess the answer is: I like doing it. Also, I like to feel like they’re kinda timeless.”
And what about a sequel to the nineties cult classic ‘Office Space’? Probably not.
“At one point I could have been talked into it. Not anymore. When the British version of ‘The Office’ came along and U.S. version, there’s been so much in that world. When I saw it at 10-year anniversary, [I liked it] but it also made me feel like I shouldn’t go back to that. I wouldn’t want to see sequel to ‘The Big Lebowski’ — not that I’m trying to compare the two, but it’s one of those movies I can watch again and again.”
