What a gorgeous moment. This place, in particular, has always felt so surreal and (dare I say) sacred, when there’s no one around. I spent many a teenage night in that very spot, contemplating the meaning of life. There’s just something about the moon bouncing off the water, seeing the outline of that familiar part of the coast, this monument all lit up, hearing the waves. Very zen. And a nice way to start the farewell to 07.
These are important times to remember and to forget too. 2007 was not a stellar year for me, for you and for our country even. But, we are moving on with hope in our hearts as 2008 arrives here in a few days.
